Eric Osburn: With over 10 years of cheerleading, gymnastics, staffing and coaching experience,
Eric is an asset to Lewis University Cheerleading! Starting out in Dallas, Texas, as a coach for the University of Texas-Austin
cheer program, Eric moved up to the Joliet area a few years ago. Eric worked for NCA as the Southwest Region
Staffing Director and coached at Cheer Station All-Stars. Those experiences brought him to more current and
advanced ideas of choreographing cheerleading. Eric started his OWN All-Star facility
and program in Austin which gave him the oppurtunity to coach and succeed while fulfilling hundreds of children's
dreams. Eric has brought many exceptional ideas to the LU cheer program and is currently going into his 2nd year
of coaching here at Lewis. Eric Osburn has built this program into what it is today. His coaching
philosophies and strategies are just what Lewis University Cheerleading needs. :-)
Carla Johnson: Carla is going on her third year at being a coach of Lewis University.
Carla is very important in the LU cheer program. Carla has NCA staffed her in college years and is very familiar with collegiate
cheerleading. Carla coached the '04 squad to a 5th place finish at NCA Collegiate Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida. Carla
is great when it comes to fundraising. She is always thinking of ideas to help get the teams up to par with money for nationals.
Her ideas and attitude are what makes Lewis University Cheerleading successful.
